How do i get started with ps2?

i got a new ps2 and i am quite great in playing the games,but since this is my first experience with ps2 i still am not familiar with everything about ps2 like how to play online.so can anyone please help me with that?How do i get started with ps2?
To play online u will need an internet service preferably a cable connection and the internet start up disc. Put the disc in and u will c the steps to go thru. If u have the slim Station the modem is built in the system. If u have the bigger one the modem should have come with it. U will need an ethernet cable to connect from the PS to cable modem. Make sure u turn off the PlayStation and the modem before u connect the ethernet cable in. Any game u play online u should have a memory card to save the login info.How do i get started with ps2?

if you have slim ps2, get internet service, broadband is good use the ethernet cable or rj 42 cable that is given to you and hook it up in the back, and put on ur startup disk and follow thru process.
