Ps3, ps2 network playing online?

mm alright i'll try to explain i got both consoles, months back, i was playing online with ps2 socom combined assault,


it was all perfect but i had to clean cables an all electronic stuff modem, computer, ps2, when i tried to set all again and play online i couldn't, ps2 said your time to get an ip address has been expired!, thats what it says on ps3 too, so what can i do?. how do i get an ip address? or what do i need to do to play online again, guys I'll really appreciate your help about this, my modem is a Motorola and i have broadband connection, my computer has internet but i just can't play online, well i hope u guys can understand, well that's it if u guys can help me with that i'll follow ur instructions, thanks.Ps3, ps2 network playing online?
Just unplug EVERYTHING from your modem, wait 3 full minutes and then plug everything back up to your modem, but instead of hooking it up to your computer, hook it up to your PS3 or PS2.
