PLZ help for 10 points!!?

i want to get online with my ps2 but my kitchen is on the other side of the house and i have this modem

but its not connected to my computer since the comp is in another place i have the cat5 ethernet connected to the modem and the other end connected to the ps2 adapter but nothing is connected to the computer can i still get online if not how can i without a computer and wireless connection?PLZ help for 10 points!!?
you'll probably want two wireless routers in this case. You seem to already have one (either the modem or connected to it).





Get a second wireless router, and configure it to receive signal from the first router wirelessly (this shouldn't be too difficult, you can look up ';setting up a wireless bridge'; on google)





Then, connect a cat5 cable from the ps2 to the second router and you should be able to connect the ps2 to the networkPLZ help for 10 points!!?
why not try to use your telephone line to surf the web?
well i am not sure but maybe you should go to a game shop where they can help you! you know they are really good there! or maybe get on the ps2 web page! there are tons of better ways to get imfo on this subject! sry i could not help!
Run a really long wire and tape it to the walls or something so you dont see it

here is what you do.. since you are on the other side of the kitchen, put your modem in the oven @ 250 degrees.. not too hot... this will radiate the internet signal with temperature and all the metals shielding the oven has.


Important note: make sure to disconnect the blue wire since they can not tolerate temperatures above 150 degrees..

You can use a cable - but it might be annoying lying around.
That's basically a Router. If you unplug the cable from the PC and plug it into your PS2, it just means you can't get online with your PC until you plug that cable back into your PC.





So at the moment, your PS2 will have access to the internet.

Yes there is a CD that came with the ps2 that allows you to set up a network without the computer. the cd has software that connects directly to your network with an regular connection. You will kinda be screwed if you lost this cd.

i think you need an expertise. Why don't you contact a computer expert who will find you a way out.
