How do i play games online with a gaming console such as a ps2 ps3 or xbox360?

how does it work? do i need to connect it to my computer to get an internet connection? ive never done this before but am interested.How do i play games online with a gaming console such as a ps2 ps3 or xbox360?
You need a disc and telephone wire. Connect the telephone wire to the back of system. Put in the disc and make a profile.(Ps2 )

Get the wire you put in the wall to make your computer start and stuff. Put it at the back of the 360. Now go online with your computer make a prfile. Then turn on your 360. ut make sure your compuyter is off. Go online type in your username and password. It might ask oyu questions. Answer them. Then yo will be brought back to the homepage. Play a game. When you get to the place your suppose to be on do not click on host game. ou will not have any freinds to play with online. So click on the other option and you are ready play onine. You can now download from online arcade and chat online with any of your freinds. for ps3 its wireless umm u have too have a wireless router for it to work or u can plug in ethernet cable ps2 ethernet
