How to enable online playing with ps2 with a wifi enabled laptop?

i got a slim ps2 with a inbuilt network adopter. i want to enjoy online playing with it. i am having a wifi enabled laptop . how do i connect it with my ps2 . do i need any external device or something ??

It isn't easy to enjoy PS2 online. You can't connect it via a laptop, and you need BT (British Telecom) broadband. (This is in the UK, not sure about the US and others).How to enable online playing with ps2 with a wifi enabled laptop?
