that depends if you have the new slim ps2 then all you need is the internet cable. if it is one of the older types then you need the network adapter. the start up disk is just like a testing option for the internet so you don't really need it.How can you play online with PS2?
you need a router,and internet,and a cat5 or cat6 cable,go to best but and ask for a cat5 or cat6 cable,conect the cat5(6) cable to your ps2,than ur computer,plug it where you would put the modem plug in,than plug your modem to your new router,reset ur computer,and game on
