I connected my laptop (with internet access) to my playstation (slim) but my ps2 is saying that there is no internet access. My computer is however noticing that the ps2 is connected to my computer. But it wont connect the ps2 to the iternet. I get my internet from my neighbor's router, but i don't know if that makes a difference.

why do people think a laptop can make a console go online? a laptop is a laptop. it's not a modem, a router or an internet adapter.
