I have a linksys router and cannot figure out how to get the PS2 online with it.

You need to buy a Network Adapter (unless you have the slimmer PS2).How do you get PS2 online?
Your router will probably have 4 Ethernet ports, you will need a free one to plug a standard Ethernet cable from the router into the back of your PS2, if you have an older PS2 with no network adapter, you will need to find one.
